Laura Reagan
Laura considers herself a native Calgarian though she was born in Edmonton and her family moved to Calgary at a very young age. Laura dabbled in art off and on over the years while she raised her family of three boys, and was employed in the dental field. With the extra time available when Covid came, Laura used her creative energy painting in watercolor. Encouraged by the enthusiasm of her family and friends, she branched off into oil painting. Laura has had no formal art education until she attended classes with Chris Jordon at Kensington Art in Calgary in 2022.
Then with her interest growing, she became a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists,
is also a new member of the Kelowna Painter's Studio, and is a member of the Calgary Chapter of the FCA. She has attended many workshops and had her art work accepted into the Calgary FCA shows, and also has had artwork accepted in the gallery of the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver.
She is now located in West Kelowna where she is enjoying the milder weather and beautiful lakes and scenery.
