Bonnie Weber

Bonnie works out of her home studio in Kelowna BC, loves to paint landscapes,
and has had a paint brush, a pencil or a camera in her hand for as long as she can
remember. She has travelled extensively throughout the world (having been a
travel agent for 20 years), but finds the beauty of BC to be the inspiration she needs
for her acrylic landscapes.
Bonnie comes by her talent naturally, being a self-taught artist. She has enjoyed
taking many workshops with other local and international artists who have her
exploring new ideas, new media and new techniques. She is trying out her abstract side as well with
mixed media and lots of color. She is an active member of the local chapter of the Federation of Cnadian Artists
and a long time member of the Kelowna Painter’s Studio Society and has found she has many mentors in the
group. One quirky thing she likes to do is to sign her paintings with her maiden name ‘Reinbold’ and her married
name ‘Weber’. This made her dad proud and also gave her a happy mother-in law!
Bonnie has shown her work in many shows, and has had paintings exhibited in small galleries in Calgary and
Kelowna. Her paintings are also held in various private collections across Canada.
